2nd ANNUAL MOUNTAIN MAN RENDEZVOUS
The MFH’s are excited to announce the 2nd annual MMR. After the HUGE success of the 1st rendezvous, we are proud to keep the tradition going. We had an amazing show of support from vendors and attendees from across the country to continue this rendezvous. If you missed the 1st one, don’t miss this one! We promise this is not your standard rendezvous, or outdoor event. This is one people are talking about. The mission of the MFH’s are wildlife education and conservation, through science based management.
This year’s event will be held at the Majestic Valley Arena, 3630 HWY 93 N. Kalispell MT 59901. The board decided that we needed a bigger venue for the growing rendezvous. This venue has many advantages; we will be able to hold the event under one roof. This location also has many great features, the Glacier Park International Airport; FCA. Also, motels and some of the best places to dine. This site also has camping and RV hook-ups on a first come bases. And yes, Glacier National Park is just up the road. Most of the park will still be under snow, but you can hike on some of the trails if you’re willing.
We will have something to do for all ages. Games, demos, competitions and Saturday evening we will host a banquet. All of these things will be based on and around the mountain man and outdoor life style. We will also have demos on trapping, hunting, horse packing and off grid living. Yes, we will have some of the very best teaching and giving demos. Something to learn for all ages and skill levels.
We are PROUD to announce that we will be hosting many of the History Channel’s Hit TV show- Mountain Man. “Yes” returning to our event for another year, Yaak Montana’s very own, Tom and Nancy Oar- Alaska’s, Bret and Ivy- Montana’s, Paul and Chance Anteczak, and Montana’s houndsman, Jake Herak. We have also added some of the cast members from the early TV series. We are continually adding more big names to the list, so please stay tuned.
