During this guided hike, learners will explore winter habitats while using snake scopes to safely observe wildlife in burrows, logs, brush piles, and other hidden spaces. We’ll talk about local reptiles and amphibians, how animals adapt in winter, habitat needs, respectful wildlife observation, and how these species fit into the ecosystem. 
This is a curiosity-led, slow-paced exploration where kids can practice real field skills and discover what’s happening beneath the snowy forest surface.  

FREE for pass holders 
$5 drop in donation per child for non- passholders
