Join NoMi Forest Explorers for a winter forest school adventure focused on winter survival skills and cold-weather exploration, in partnership with MCD!
We’ll head out on a guided hike and learn hands-on winter survival concepts like staying warm, reading the winter landscape, moving safely through snowy terrain, and understanding how people and animals adapt to winter conditions.

🕐 Time: 1:00–3:00 PM
What to Expect:
• Winter hike through the woods
• Basic winter survival skills & discussion
• Learning how nature adapts in cold weather
• Hands-on, age-appropriate forest school learning
What to Bring:
• Warm layers (snow pants, boots, hat, gloves)
• Weather-appropriate outerwear
• Water bottle
