Workshop - Adventures in Mini Collage Weekend

In this two-day workshop, we will create an assortment of textured, layered mixed media collages, both for self-expression and for no-pressure fun! After a quick review of the basics, we'll build our own stashes of opaque and translucent papers, along with imagery, lettering, pattern, and fibers--all with our favorite colors, themes, and style in mind. Using these materials, we'll transform ordinary objects/substrates into a series of mini artistic treasures. Although all materials/substrates will be provided, feel free to bring your favorite colors of acrylic paints, along with any collage papers and/or images you enjoy using in your art.
