Trinity Martial Arts Academy is hosting a Taekwondo Tournament!
Forget the new age digital scoring. We are taking things old school!
Each match will consist of two 2-minute rounds. Mats will have three corner referees declare a winner at the end of each round. Athletes must have 2 of the 3 judge in their favor to win. In the event of a draw, a third 1-minute overtime round will take place to determine the winner.
This tournament will be SPARRING ONLY.
Judging Criteria:
- Significant Strikes
- Aggressiveness/Intensity
- Mat Control
Athletes Need:
- Head Gear
- Hogu
- Forearm/Shin Pads
- Mouthguard
- Groin Protection (if applicable)
*Digital footgear and hogus are not necessary*
