Downtown Kalamazoo is the place to be as JumpstART Weekend marks the official start of summer. It brings an exciting lineup of events that celebrate art, community, and creativity. This weekend is a longtime tradition and sets the stage for a season full of music, culture, and connection.

The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Fair in Bronson Park, now in its 74th year, will welcome over 130 artists from across the country, while Art on the Mall fills the Kalamazoo Mall with unique creations from local and regional artists. Kalamazoo Pride at Arcadia Creek Festival Place brings vibrant performances and the community together in one of the city’s biggest festivals. And, of course, the Do-Dah Parade keeps things lighthearted with its signature mix of humor, satire, and creativity.

Throughout the weekend, downtown restaurants, shops, and public spaces will be alive with energy. Whether you’re exploring art, enjoying live performances, or just taking in the atmosphere, JumpstART Weekend is a celebration of all the things that make downtown Kalamazoo a vibrant place to be.
