Tervetuloa yhteisöllisiin kulttuuri-iltamiin, jotka tuovat lavalle eri kulttuureiden musiikkia, tanssia, esityksiä ja tarinoita!
Kajaani on kulttuurisesti rikas kaupunki. Kupillinen kulttuuria - a Cup of Culture tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen mahdollisuuden tutustua eri kulttuurien perinteisiin ja taiteeseen sekä viettää aikaa yhdessä. Näyttämöillä nähdään makupaloja esimerkiksi eri kulttuurien tansseista, musiikista ja runoudesta. Kulttuurien torilla päästään tutustumaan kulttuurien perinteisiin käsitöihin, makuihin, tietoiskuihin ja arjen tarinoihin. Tavoitteenamme on lisätä kulttuurista ymmärrystä, vahvistaa yhteisöllisyyttä ja luoda tila uusille kohtaamisille.
Kupillinen kulttuuria järjestetään Seminaarin Taidekampuksella perjantaina 23. tammikuuta 2026 klo 17-21 (ovet avautuvat klo 16). Tapahtuma on avoin ja maksuton kaikille, ja se sopii kaikenikäisille. Tapahtumassa on kahvitarjoilu, ja kahviosta voi ostaa pientä purtavaa.
Halutessanne voitte vielä hakeutua osaksi ohjelmaa ja Kulttuurien toria. Kuratoimme kokonaisuudesta sellaisen, että mahdollisimman moni pääsee mukaan. Ohjelmana voi olla esimerkiksi tanssi- tai musiikkiesitys, laulu, runo tai jokin muu pieni esitys. Lisätietoja ja hakuohjeet löytyvät Taidekampuksen nettisivuilta.
Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupunki Oulu2026 -vuoden avajaisia vietetään Kajaanissa tammikuussa kaksipäiväisenä, ja ensimmäisenä päivänä juhlavuotta avataan Seminaarin Taidekampuksella. Kupillinen kulttuuria -tapahtuman järjestävät Seminaarin Taidekampus -hanke yhdessä Vapaaehtoistoiminnalla yhdenvertaiseen osallisuuteen -hanke. Yhteistyössä mukana Pohjois-Suomen Kiinteistösijoitus oy.

Welcome to our community cultural evenings, which bring music, dance, performances, and stories from different cultures to the stage!
Kajaani is a culturally rich city. A Cup of Culture offers a unique opportunity to learn about the traditions and arts of different cultures and spend time together. The stage will feature samples of different cultures' dances, music, and poetry. At the Cultural Square, you can learn about traditional crafts, flavors, facts, and everyday stories from different cultures. Our goal is to increase cultural understanding, strengthen community spirit, and create a space for new encounters.
A Cup of Culture will be held at the Seminaari Taidekampus on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.). The event is open and free of charge to everyone and is suitable for all ages. Coffee and tea will be served at the event, and snacks will be available for purchase at the café.
If you wish, you can still apply to be part of the program and the Culture Square. We will curate the program so that as many people as possible can participate. The program can include, for example, a dance or music performance, singing, poetry, or some other small performance. The opening ceremony for Oulu2026, European Capital of Culture, will be held in Kajaani in January over two days, with the first day kicking off the celebrations at the Seminaari Taidekampus. The Cup of Culture event is organized by the Seminaari Taidekampus project in collaboration with the Equitable Inclusion Through Volunteering project. Pohjois-Suomen Kiinteistösijoitus Oy is also involved in the collaboration.
