Upcoming themes- Sept 10th - …Dots and Dashes___Let’s explore art FUN-damentals with the building blocks of …well…everything. We’ll put dots on ladybugs and stripes on bees. What’s the point of pointillism, you ask? To be spotty-dotty of course and we’ll try some different ways to literally make that point. You really can make anything from just those two simple things in art and in all the activities today. Noticing is everything. Sept 17thSpace Cadets! 3,2,1…lift off. Together we’ll create a night sky with our very own brand new constellations (astronaut photo op!) . We’ll capture the hot sun with yarn painting and explore the contrast of black and bright, light and dark and shiny and matte. Twinkle, Twinkle, little art stars! Sept. 24thUnder the SeaWe all play in a yellow submarine! We’ll swim some eels and fish through some seaweed we wove,  Blow bubbles,  like whales and dolphins do,  to make bubble art, make waves with water colors (of course) and take home a bathtub boat to float.
