In-person registration will begin at 1130, stages/rounds will begin at 1200.If you have your own Nintendo Switch, please bring along so we can have more than one (1) game going at a time.1st place: $100 Visa Gift Card2nd Place: $50 Visa Gift CardMario Kart Tournament Rules & Stages:-You are able to utilize your own controller if you bring one.-If you bring your own switch, you may have to play on another switch.-Groups will be composed of 4 players max. (Number in group is dependant on total number of registrants)-Groups will be randomly assigned once all registrants have signed in.First stageEach group will play 1 Versus Mode round with the following rules:150cc raceTeams: NoItems: NormalCPU Level: HardCPU Vehicles: AllTracks: RandomNo. of races: 8 Allowed characters: AllAllowed vehicles: AllSmart steering: AllowedAuto-acceleration: AllowedGyroscope: AllowedAfter the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.The Top players from each group with the highest scores advance to the next stage.In case of a tie for the last position, the players who tied will play 1 race on the Baby Park track with the same ruleset. The winner will take the position and advance to the next stage.Second stageIn this stage, winners from each group will be split into groups (number in group is dependant on total number of registrants).Each group will play 1 Versus Mode round with the same set of rules above.After the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.The Top players from each group with the highest scores advance to the next stage.In case of a tie for the last position, the players who tied will play 1 race on the Baby Park track with the same ruleset. The winner will take the position and advance to the next stage.Third stage (final)All winners fr players will form a single group.The group will play 1 Versus Mode with the above ruleset.After the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.The Top 3 players with the highest scores win the tournament.In case of a tie for the 3th position, the players who tied will play 1 race on the Baby Park track with the same ruleset. The winner will take the position.Na Koa Cup Points:20 points per entry (max two (2) per unit, if more than two (2) per unit are playing, must designate point earners BEFORE stages begin)1st place - 75 points / 2nd place - 50 points / 3rd place - 25 pointsThis tournament is open to all active duty Marines and Sailors attached to MCB Hawaii only.
