EL SANCHO
Waikoloa’s punk rock trio plays fast, catchy fun punk rock and has been compared to bands like Propagandhi, The Dwarves and Screeching Weasel. Their latest album ROLL RIGHT OVER YOU was released on vinyl in 2025 and features 12 songs about smashing the state, and zombies.
FILTH
80s punk/hardcore band FILTH, from Anaheim California, reunites for one special show in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii! FILTH existed from 1984-1988. Their Raunch Core demo, recorded in 1987, never saw wide release, but is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms. The band drew influences from hardcore within the Southern California scene as well as from bands like Slayer, Celtic Frost and Discharge. Their 4-song demo reflects the chaos and excess of that time, with hyper-fast songs, wailing guitars and reverb-ed out drum fills.
KAUZ OF AFFLICTION
Straight outta Ocean View, KOA has been playing across Hawaii and beyond (they have European tour planned for late 2026) since 2017. Their latest album Life Tips on Dumpster Diving includes hits like “Gas Station Burrito” and “The Fuck Song” which encapsulates their “in your face, but take a joke” punk rock attitude!
THE ALCOHAOLES
The Big Island’s party punk band always brings a chaotic and unpredictable live show. With songs about beer, drinking beer, and society’s oppressive stranglehold through footwear, The Alcohaoles never disappoint.
