Join us at Wairarapa Moana, a place often known for its wild winds, as it settles into a calm, glassy expanse at sunset. When you pause, listen, and take it all in, the lake hums with life unseen during the day.

Aro matawai — observe the many faces of water— invites you to experience the moana in a different way. Local kaitiaki will share their knowledge of the lake, its wildlife, and the stars above.
