- **Event Description**: JMDCAbout this EventScouts interested in earning this BSA Merit Badge need to come to the program prepared. This means they should review the merit badge overview found on the JMDC website www.jmdc.org/downloads and bring to the program any requirements that are to be completed outside the program. Scouts should read the merit badge pamphlet prior to attending the program, and bring the pamphlet with them on the day of the merit badge program. Scouts should be prepared to discuss, explain and engage in program topic discussions to meet the BSA National requirements. If something is required to be written, it should be done prior to the program so it can be evaluated and discussed with the Merit Badge Counselor. Additionally, Scouts should have several of the BSA 10 essentials with them. Something to drink, snack, and be ready to go outside if the Counselor chooses to do so. Uniform dress code is up to the Scout’s Unit. Regardless of Unit policy, JMDC is a family facility and we ask that clothing be family friendly.
