- **Event Description**: The Juneau Glacier Valley $10,000 Duck Derby is a fun annual tradition supported by many businesses and individuals in our community.     

Join the live event Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Twin Lakes Park

The fun will begin at 11 am at Twin Lakes Park with food and door prizes, then the ducks will “fly” after being dropped from a Coastal Helicopter into the lake around 2 pm. After “swimming” for 30 mins or so, the 10 lucky ducks will be “rescued”. One of them could be yours and win you a share of ten grand!

Grand Prize - $5,000
2nd Prize - $1,000 and 2 roundtrip tickets from Alaska Airlines
3rd Prize - $1,500
4th Prize - $1,000
5th Prize - $500
6th Prize - $250
7th Prize - $250
8th Prize - $250
9th Prize - $125
10th Prize - $125

Online and paper “Adoptions” end August 22nd at 1 pm.
