Light Up a Life Hospice Remembrance Event & Fundraiser

Bartlett Regional Hospital is excited to announce its second annual ‘Light Up a Life’ community celebration. The event will take place on Friday, December 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Mendenhall Mall.

‘Light Up a Life’ is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and reflect on the year while remembering and celebrating the lives of the people who are special to us. This year’s event will include a tree lighting ceremony, serving as a reminder of all the people we love who are no longer with us. Those who contribute a minimum of $10 can add the name of their loved one to an ornament that will be hung on the tree throughout the holiday season.

This community event is a fundraising opportunity for the hospital’s hospice services and will include a silent auction featuring donated items from local individuals and businesses. All funds raised through the event go towards ensuring that no patient or family is left struggling to cope alone in the community.

Bartlett Regional Hospital began providing hospice services in July 2023 following a nearly one-year absence in the Juneau community. Today, the hospital is a Medicare Certified Hospice agency.
