- **Event Description**: Parks & Recreation is partnering with Aukeman Triathlon to host the Dimond Dash Super Short Relay Triathlon on Sunday, May 17 at Dimond Park. Online registration opens today, March 25, at noon through the Parks and Recreation registration catalog under the “Special Events” tab. The registration fee is $60 per team until Monday, April 27. Afterwards, registration is $75 per team until registration closes on Friday, May 15 or reaches capacity.  

Participants can enter the triathlon individually or in teams of three to complete a sprint-length triathlon course—including a 150-yard swim, 1.25 mile bike, and 0.5 mile run—for a combined race time. Individual participants will need to complete the course three times.  

Registration includes two steps when competing as a three-person team. First, the team captain registers the team and pays the registration fee. Second, each team member registers as a participant in the event at no charge. 

General registration is open to participants ages 12 years and up, but young triathletes ages 8 to 11 years old may register if they are a current member of a swim team, or if they have or plan to participate in the 2025 or 2026 Youth Triathlon Training Camp.
