Please READ ALL THIS INFORMATION FOR THE TOURNAMENT.
Thursday June 25th through Sunday June 28th. 
Wednesday June 24th we will be closing the Lake down for fishing at 2 PM and will remain closed until 7 AM Thursday June 25th to allow the fish time to settle down and settle in for a wild weekend. This will allow for stocking. We will be stocking 1,200 pounds of channel catfish, 600 pounds of flat heads catfish, 600 pounds of blue catfish. We will not know until Monday June 22 what day the flatheads and blues will be here, but we are hoping that they will be here in time for the tournament.  The flat heads and the blue ARE CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY NO EXCEPTIONS to that. We are hoping the flat heads will help thin out the baby bluegills. All the flat heads and blue being put into the lake will be 10 pounds or bigger.  
There will be over 100 fish tagged before going into the lake. These tags will be color coated depending on the color tag determines what prizes you will win. Example: a blue tag could be $10 cash; an orange tag could be a free 8 hour pass etc. 
Prizes range from free worms, t-shirts, hats, cash prizes, tackle boxes, rod & reel combo, 4-hour fishing pass, 8-hours fishing pass, Texas Roadhouse gift cards. There will be 10 fish tagged at $100.00 cash prize. There will be 4 fish tagged at $250.00 cash prize. 
There will be 20 fish tagged as smallest fish and 20 fish tagged as biggest fish, all will have a $20.00 cash prize. The rest of the tagged fish will be tackle boxes, rod & reel combo, 4-hour fishing pass, 8-hours fishing pass, Texas Roadhouse gift cards, and more. 
In addition, we will add 2 more albino catfish to the lake that will be tagged for an extra $100.00 cash prize on top of the daily albino pot if you get in on the daily albino pot. 
The tagged fish is only valid for the 4-day tournament weekend. The daily albino catfish fish jackpot will still be going for half the jackpot if you choose to participate in the daily albino jackpot. 
We will all be doing hourly drawings throughout the weekend for free passes, merchandise, T-shirts, hats etc. 
Daily entry passes are 4-hours $20.00, 8-hours $ 32.00, 12-hours $40.00. There is NO limit of fish per pass. The flat head catfish and the blue catfish are catch and release only. We will measure and weigh them when caught and then release them back into the lake.  
The 3 categories with running 4-day totals are as follows, largest single fish caught, total pounds caught, and total fish caught. Catfish only for all 3 categories. 
There will be a $100.00 cash prize for 1st place.
There will be a $50.00 cash prize for 2nd place.
There will be a $25.00 cash prize for 3rd place. 
These categories will be added together at the end of the tournament on Sunday June 28th at 7PM. When you leave daily, we will add your total weights, your biggest fish sizes to get your totals for Sunday night. 
All fish must be alive at check-out time; all tags need to be checked and verified as well. The tagged fish prizes will be paid out daily and the overall prize after the tournament closes on Sunday at 7PM.

We heard lots of good comments from everyone at last month’s tournament, and we are glad everyone enjoyed the weekend and had good times. So, we listened to everyone’s comments, and we will continue doing these over the course of the year. Thank you to all who participate and support the cause.  We are also going to consider doing some 4-or 8-hour 1-day tournaments in the upcoming months. So, keep watching for posts when these get scheduled. 

On Sunday June 28th from 11AM to 7PM we will do a 2-person team tournament with a 2-pole limit on each pass and individual fishing.  We will do most pounds caught and largest single fish caught for each team for cash payout at the end of Sunday night. The weight of the teams will be split into 2 and added to their individual daily totals for the 4-day tournament.  The biggest fish caught for team will be divided in length by 2 and added on their individual fish sizes as well. 
Bring out a canopy, buy some firewood and supplies at our bait shop, have a campfire by the lake and enjoy catching fish and winning prizes. 
As always, we stock night crawlers, neon night crawlers, bee moth, shrimp, chicken liver, shad, skip jack, stink bait, red wigglers, along with other options in the bait shop. Stop in and purchase all bait, tackle and snack needs.
