Dear hikers,
?Join us on Saturday 19th of April for a wonderful and special event in Qab Elias : Darb El Yanabi3 or Turtles trail, then we will end our hike by celebrating Easter egg with the group.
(Eggs will be distributed to the group)

?️Qab Elias is a municipality in Zahle District, in eastern Lebanon. It is 45 kilometers from the Lebanese capital Beirut.
The most important monument in the town of Qab elias is the famous Ottoman castle which overlooks the Bekaa and was built to control the road that linked Beirut and the Shouf to the Bekaa valley.
In 1625, Emir Fakhreddin destroyed an older palace that stood there and constructed this castle.

?We will start our hike from Domaine de chouchene we’ll pass by 4 old watermills from ancient times. Then we will continue to "Ras el 3ein" water spring via wazal road, we’ll see Assyrian terraces  from 3000 years. The trail continue to nabe3 el 3ajouz water spring where we can refill our bottle, then we will head to the mountain to see Wadi el Dalam.
we’ll walk beside the river and waterfalls to reach the French bridge in the end of the valley, we’ll return via loop  to reach another spring water  taking a short break then heading back to Prince Fakhreddine Castle at the top of the village where we can see  the Bekaa valley and mount Hermon. We will end our hike at the domaine via 340 stairs between the old houses in the village.

?Pullman is moving from Amchit and can pick up the hikers living on the way.

?Departure : 7 a.m Dbayeh before Spinneys on Naccache bridge in front of Demerjian center.
And 7:30 a.m Furn El Chebbak - Burger King- Alfa store.

?-Breakfast stop at Chtaura.

?Fees: 20$ or equivalent in LBP(including transportation by Pullman, local guide, guides and first aid kit but does not include medical insurance)
