🔹 SYNOPSIS:
Aging, power, and betrayal collide in King Lear, Shakespeare’s heart-wrenching exploration of family, loyalty, and the fragility of the human mind.
As King Lear approaches the end of his reign, he seeks to divide his kingdom among his three daughters—but his fatal desire for flattery blinds him to true love.
He casts out his youngest, Cordelia, the only one who loves him unconditionally, while his elder daughters, Goneril and Regan, scheme for control. As Lear’s mind unravels and he is cast into the wilderness, he faces the devastating realities of aging, isolation, and regret.
In a world where ambition tears families apart, King Lear is a powerful reflection on the bonds that hold us together—and the betrayals that break them. Witness Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy under the vast Joshua Tree sky, where nature itself mirrors the storm raging within a father’s shattered heart.
