- **Event Description**: This course is designed around teaching movement, communication and defense of buildings in an urban environment.  Commonly referred to as “Close Quarter Battle” (CQB).  

Participants will learn tactics and practice both with a partner and organized into small teams.

Topics will include:

Operating with a partner and in small teams
Partner and Team communication
Optimizing equipment for CQB
Planning of CQB operations
Fundamentals and Principals of CQB
Room Clearing
Movement in in hallways, stairwells, and other structural challenges
Working in low-light environments
Post-engagement procedures
This is NOT a live-fire course.  Drills will be conducted using Airsoft and other training aids.

We have a limited number of Airsoft carbines (AR15 style) for participant use.

Participants are welcomed to bring their own Airsoft guns.  Simunition and similar guns will be approved for use on a case-by-case basis.

Suitable eye protection is required for all participants.  Eye protection must meet the requirements for firearm or Airsoft use.  If you have questions about the suitability of your eyewear, please ask!

Optional Equipment:

Airsoft long gun (Rifle, Carbine, Shotgun or similar) with at least three spare magazines.  Must have a sling.
Airsoft handgun with holster and at least one spare magazine
Tactical Gear (Helmet, Body Armor, chest rig/load carrying equipment, battle belt, etc)
Flashlight
Participants should have some experience handling and operating firearms.
