Joplin NALA Read invites you to an unforgettable evening of mystery, laughter, and community at Murder at the Spell Ball.
Step into the glamorous world of the Spell Ball, NALA Read’s long-running signature event that combines a spelling bee competition with a formal fundraising gala and has been a beloved community tradition for decades. This year, the celebration takes an unexpected turn when the evening’s festivities are interrupted by a mysterious incident that only the guests can solve.
Participants will be assigned fun and easy-to-play roles such as competitors, donors, community leaders, and other colorful personalities connected to the Spell Ball. No acting experience is required. The experience is designed to be interactive, welcoming, and enjoyable for all ages, with plenty of twists, surprises, and opportunities to mingle.
The evening includes delicious food along with the interactive mystery experience. Whether you come ready to solve the case or simply enjoy the entertainment, you can expect a night of intrigue, laughter, and community connection.
Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple.
