That’s why I’m hosting a Chronic Kidney Disease Community Forum to bring together local clinicians, patient advocates, and our community to talk about early detection, prevention, and better support.

You’ll hear from local experts including a GP and nephrologist, as well as someone with lived experience. We’ll finish with an open Q&A so people can ask questions and be part of the discussion.

This is an issue I care deeply about. I was diagnosed with kidney disease at 25, spent time on dialysis, and was fortunate to receive a transplant. I know firsthand how important early detection and proper support can be.

If you, your family, or your organisation are involved in health, community services, or simply want to learn more — I encourage you to attend.
