Meet at 8:30am in the car park on the south side of Ocean Reef Road near the old buildings. From the Mitchell Freeway travel east along Whitfords Ave and continue to the T-Junction at Wanneroo Road. Turn left into Wanneroo Road and proceed to the intersection at Ocean Reef Road. Turn left into Ocean Reef Road and proceed about 500m until you reach some old stone buildings on the left. Park in the limestone area in front of these buildings. DO NOT approach the parking area by travelling east along Ocean Reef Road; crossing the median strip to get to the parking area is both illegal and extremely dangerous on this busy road. Beenyup Swamp is part of the Yellogonga Regional Park. There should be a good variety of bushbirds and waterbirds.
Bring a chair and morning tea to have while we do a combined birdlist.
