Show dates are July 25th-27th and Aug 1st - 3rd • Please prepare between 16-32 bars of music for a song of your choosing. • The song should fit the style of Matilda the Musical, but should NOT be from the show itself. • Backing tracks are REQUIRED. Karaoke tracks on YouTube are a great example. Be prepared to sing with the backing track. The dance audition video is now posted on our fb page and the website. Please learn ahead of time . We will be going over it, but not teaching it at the audition to save time. Video auditions must be delivered to jolietdramaguild@gmail.com no later than April 29th at 7:00 and must include a song video and the dance video to be considered . Character Breakdown Matilda Wormwood An imaginative girl who is clever and wise far beyond her years. She has a thirst for learning that cannot be quenched.
