- **Event Description**: **Please join us for a REGISTRATION DAY event aimed at introducing the upcoming no-cost Defense Manufacturing Program! Interested individuals are invited to tour the makerspace, learn about the program, and meet the instructors before signing up to participate in the six-week program.**

The Defense Manufacturing Program is a six-week training series featuring nationally-recognized programming preparing adults for entry-level defense manufacturing career pathways.

Courses will be held at Made in Johnstown on Tuesdays from 11AM - 3PM & Thursdays from 11AM - 4PM beginning December 2, 2025 thru January 22, 2026.

Coursework Snapshot:
-Additive Manufacturing & Troubleshooting
-CNC Manufacturing & Assembly
-Blueprint, Lean/S5, & Quality
-Robotics & Mathematics
-PPE, Safety, Hazards, & Fire Safety
-OSHA, Power Tools, Measurements, & Tolerances

Upon course completion, participants will receive a nationally-recognized certified manufacturing associate certificate.
