Johnstown Pride News! Searching for a crown? Well, The Keystone Alliance/Gaylife Newsletter will be hosting Miss Johnstown Pride Meet the Contestants at Lucy's Place on Friday, June 13th at 10 PM for a Pride event extravaganza! Performers need to check in by 8 pm or lose 10 points. The show kicks off at 10 pm. We are going to crown a queen for our 2025 Johnstown Pride, and we want YOU to be part of it! Our current Miss Johnstown Pride 2024, Christian Diane, will be stepping down. Up to twelve queens will tear up the stage with a spectacular talent based on the theme of what Pride means to you and answering a question, fighting for a chance to win the hearts of a panel of 4 judges and win points towards victory (100 total points, 20 points per all 4 judges and 20 points from voting jars). Don't worry, fans, we didn't forget about you! In addition to the panel of judges, voting jars will be available for each individual queen for adoring fans to vote, giving the queens a chance to earn not just votes from the audience, but tips as well. Each dollar gets a voting token to place in the jar for that queen. This means fans can vote for more than 1 queen, but only the top 4 voted queens will be awarded points (max of 20, 15, 10, and 5 for the top 4 vote getters) towards their victory. Each person can only vote 10 times per contestant, or ten dollars towards each queen, so bring your friends and let's pack the event. Once the event has concluded, each queen will receive their voting jar and all "votes" contained within, and all money.

Last but not least, the winner will be crowned Miss Johnstown Pride 2025 on the main stage of the 1st Summit Arena at the Cambria County War Memorial, where our Pride headliner, The Indigo Girls, will perform on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 7:30 pm. The new Miss Johnstown Pride will be expected to headline at Johnstown Pride in Central Park and perform at the War Memorial. If you would like to participate in the "Meet the Contestants" drag show, please contact me with a personal bio and a photo to showcase yourself but act fast as those 12 slots are filling up fast!
