The Holiday Parade kicks off at 6:30pm and culminates with the arrival of Santa Claus, who will take a picture with your children in Sir William Johnson Park on West Main Street. 
Stroll the downtown area before and after the parade, dine in one of our various restaurants, do some shopping and enjoy some great entertainment in numerous downtown venues. Highlights are Deb Cavanaugh (Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, playing her dulcimer and a set of Christmas/winter themed songs), Magician John Hoffman (who has performed hundreds of shows across the Northeast from corporate and community events to private parties, television and fund raisers since 1986), free shuttle rides to Historic Johnson Hall and back where you can hear the Liasons Plaisantes performing colonial period music.  There are many more attractions to take in on this magical night to kick off the holiday season. Make sure to get a map with a schedule of performances and venues at the info booth on the corner of W. Main and N. Market streets.
