Johnstown Chess – Now Starting Earlier! ♟️
Beginning Saturday, February 28th, Johnstown Chess will start one hour earlier — at 12:00 PM (noon) instead of 1:00 PM. We’ll still play until 3:45 PM, so now you get even more time over the board.
We meet on the 3rd floor of the Cambria County Library, and we’d like to thank the Library for being such great partners in making Johnstown Chess possible.
The earlier start is perfect for players who:
Want to get in more games
Prefer a longer, relaxed session
Are traveling from outside the area and want the trip to be more worthwhile
New Time: 12:00 PM – 3:45 PM
Same place. Same friendly games. Same good competition.
And don’t worry — if you can’t arrive at noon, come whenever you can. Plenty of chess will still be happening.
