The transformation of this area into a vibrant community space is part of WRWC’s work in restoring the health of the Woonasquatucket River while creating a new hub for education, recreation, and resilience.There are limited parking spaces at the Manton Outdoor Classroom, including handicap spots. If these fill up, there are overflow spots further down on either side of Goldsmith St.Difficulty/AccessibilityThese walks are open to all ages and accessible to most paces. The walk moves at an exploratory pace, stopping frequently and usually covering about a mile over the course of an hour. The Woonasquatucket River Greenway is a paved, multi-function trail. It is wheelchair accessible but currently does not get plowed/salted in the winter. There is not a public bathroom or water source at this site, so plan accordingly.
