(Please have your 2026 membership card with you when using our ranges.) This is a “Size Doesn’t Matter” contest. Prize money equally divided among successful coyote hunters. Coyotes are weighed for club records only. Coyote hunters in our hunt are eligible for prizes Some of the prizes given away in recent years: Electronic calls, mouth calls, knives, hats and shirts, trail cameras and other outdoor related items. Stop at the club to draw for your prizes until they are gone. The number of prizes vary from year to year. We also have a “Lucky Dog Drawing”. The winner is selected from the successful coyote hunters. The prize is 10% of the purse in addition to their harvest. A list of prize winners will be at the club during the hunt. Notice: Club membership will be $15.00 adult, $2.00 for juniors under age of 16. Coyote Hunt membership still $10.00(If you’re not a club member the total cost of the coyote hunt is $25.00, juniors $12.00.) Rules and Regulations The Coyote Hunt begins at 12:01 AM Friday, February 20, 2026 and ends at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 22, 2026. Registrations are available at Elk County Ammo & Arms (246 Brusselles Street, St. Marys, PA) or from an officer of the club. You may also register by printing an application from our website and mailing it to us along with payment. Proof of membership will be required or a membership application must be submitted along with the Coyote Hunt registration form. The registration fee is $10.00 (includes administrative fee). Each participant must be registered for the Coyote Hunt. The participant must also be a paid 2026 member of the club. Mail-in registrations must be received and processed before Thursday, February 12, 2026. When hunting in groups, each member of the group must be registered or the entire group will be disqualified. Each hunter must register his/her coyote in person. Coyotes may be bagged anywhere in Pennsylvania and they must be bagged during the hours of the hunt. No trapped, snared or penned Coyotes will be accepted. Road kills also do not qualify. Participants must have a valid Pennsylvania hunting license or furtaker’s license. Any violation of the rules of the hunt or Pennsylvania Game Laws will disqualify the participant and all members of his hunting party. The club reserves the right to have all Coyotes inspected by a certified professional. An autopsy may be performed if any suspicious conditions exist. Coyotes may be checked at the Sportsmen’s Club during the following hours: Friday, 12PM – 4 PM, Saturday, 12 PM – 4 PM, Sunday 9 AM – 3 PM Each successful participant must dispose of his/her coyote carcass. The St. Marys Sportsmen’s Club Coyote Hunt is being run concurrent with and in cooperation with The Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club hunt.
