A former member of Cadillac Sky, He has toured with Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers, Dave Evans, and more.  Now leading his own bluegrass band, he’s released a new album produced by Tim O’Brien (Go Big and go Home) on Mountain Fever Records, and share's his charm as frequent guest host of NPR’s Mountain Stage.

Combining virtuosic musicianship, comedy, and infectious charisma, Mayfield leaves every audience eager to join the parade.
