During this weekend Lama Karma will teach on a song by the twentieth-century Tibetan master Khenpo Gangshar Wangpo explaining the mantra of Chenrezik, the bodhisattva of compassion. He will also bestow the empowerment of Chenrezik. The refuge vow is a prerequisite for receiving the empowerment and will be offered just before it. 
 
Lama Karma Drodhul is a resident teacher and former president of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra in Woodstock, NY. He was born in East Tibet, where he began his training at Thrangu Monastery, and later completed two three-year retreats under Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche at Karme Ling in Delhi, NY. Lama Karma has taught widely in North and South America, and he is the author of two books, Amrita of Eloquence and Siddhas of Ga.

Registration is required to attend. This teaching isprovided on a donation basis. Offerings to LamaKarma and VVP are gratefully accepted. VVP is a local non-profit organization entirely reliant on donations and membership dues. Please give generously so that we can continue to offer programs like this.
