MINT is a new Music Industry Networking event that happens the first Thursday of each month.

Our goal is to connect music industry professionals including but not limited to musicians, producers, funders, vocalists, marketing and PR professionals etc. We have found that it is hard to break into the current music industry culture and that there is not enough support for South African musicians at large or respect for those behind the scenes. Therefore, we would like to find ways to create our own opportunities and work and also provide work to others that are overlooked even though their excellence speaks volumes.

Venue: Gotcha Pizzeria and Garden on 4th, Linden
Time: 6pm until 10pm
Guest speaker: TBC

Our schedule:
6pm - Meet and greet and open play
7 - 7.30pm - Discussion session with Tamara Dey.
7.30 - 8pm - Q and A
9pm - Open play
(any performers are welcome to show their skill in hopes of making connections, finding backers or landing deals.)

Please note that times may shift slightly as the talk and Q and A sections may not be exactly an hour each.

We are a community based project so we will provide basic sound plug and play set ups.

WE NEED YOU to join in and also join up to assist getting the right people into the event that you think will benefit.
