Through observing its subtle and harmful effect on our mind, we will develop a strong wish to be free of its influence. We will then look at some essential meditations to drop unrealistic expectations, create a more gentle and generous approach with ourselves, and inspire an encouraging attitude to move forward into our life.Join us for a meaningful Sunday to create a gentle and warm approach to our life.Each session will consist of short teachings, prayers and meditations with refreshments between sessions. Schedule: Sunday 20th SeptemberSession 1: 09:30 – 10:30Brunch, 10:30 – 11:15Session 2: 11:15 – 12:30  Everyone is Welcome ! About the TeacherAs a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Kelsang Mila is a modern – day Kadampa Nun and the resident teacher of Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and ordained for sixteen years. Her teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life. How to join in?In Person at Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist CenterBest place to parkUse the Rothesay entrance to park. Use the outside staircase ( there is a lift near Pronto restaurant however). Walk through to the courtyard and we are the corner shop. The Woods Shopping Centre, 345 Jan Smuts Ave, Upper level, Craighall Park, 2196Please arrive a few minutes before the event starts to register and settle in. We have a bookshop to browse, water on sale.There is secure and ample parking.
