Take a walk with your best friend and make a difference to pets in need. Join us on Saturday the 22nd of August 2026, at the beautiful James & Ethel Gray Park in Melrose, Johannesburg, for a fundraising dog walk and pet fair.  

Bring your dog and join us for a 1.5km walk for some special bonding time, followed by a fun-filled morning of community spirit in support of animal welfare. Every ticket sold goes directly to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League Johannesburg, so your family outing means meaningful support for pets in need.  

On the day you can interact with our friendly groomers at the Absolute Pets Pet Spa stand as well as meet the teams behind your favourite pet brands.  

You can also expect fantastic lucky draw prizes and giveaways! They say you start to look like your pets, are you and your dog twinning? Does your dog do amazing tricks?  Then you can enter them into our fun competitions for a chance to win fabulous prizes! 

VIPP ticket holders will receive a gift bag to fill with loads of great products for both you and your pet valued at over R1 700! HURRY, there are only 200 VIPP tickets available! 

We can’t wait to walk, play, laugh and give back together, because family comes first, in all shapes and sizes.

Event T&C’s: 

• Please make sure ALL DOGS are on a leash at all times. 

• Please pick up after your dog by making use of the poop bags available at the event or bring your own along with you. 

• While all dogs are welcome, please bear in mind that your dog will be around many other dogs, so consider whether they are socialised enough, or comfortable enough being around other dogs. 

• No dogs ‘on heat’ allowed. 

• Children under 5 years attend for free 

• Event officially ends at 12:00
