On this scenic adventure, we'll explore one of Nashville's largest city parks. The 1,688-acre Beaman Park lies on the Highland Rim just outside the Nashville Basin and contains pristine springs, clear-running streams, forested slopes, and incredible wildlife. On the challenging Laurel Woods Trail, we’ll take full advantage of this diverse landscape.
This is a strenuous activity. The hike is 12.5 miles total, and the total duration will be 5-6 hours. The trail includes elevation change and creek crossings! Please dress appropriately for the weather, and consider packing a rain jacket for a long, spring hike. Please wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the day!
Meet at the Highland Trailhead at Beaman Park, located at 4111 Little Marrowbone Road.
