About the workshop facilitator: Doreen Jachmann
Doreen has worked for a commercial worm farmer and runs a self-sufficient homestead, in Jimboomba.
She uses different composting methods to convert the food waste to beautiful rich soil, without the aid of machinery.
Doreen has a Bachelor of Horticulture and has worked in different climate zones around the world. She also has a Certificate 4 in Environmental Monitoring specialising in soil and water testing and a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.
And has completed several permaculture design courses.
