SHIMMER a winter themed circus for all ages!
Join us and Cirque-tacular's cirque performers as we journey to a shimmering wonderland of circus spectacle and derring-do! Marvel at bendy ballerinas, be mesmerized by aerialists like living snow, delight in a host of charming performances that celebrate the warmth of this "cool" winter season. Prepare to enjoy astonishing acrobatics, dazzling specialty acts, and glittering costumes in a whimsical winter world for all ages!
Get ready to experience the impossible! Circque-tacular is bringing this internationally acclaimed breathtaking spectacle to the Mauch Chunk Museum Ballroom for six thrilling performances during Winterfest, February 14-15 at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30pm each day. Featuring world-class acrobatics, jaw-dropping feats, and an irresistible blend of charm and wonder, this award-winning company of acrobats and novelty entertainers promises to dazzle audiences of all ages. The Mauch Chunk Ballroom is located at 41 West Broadway in Jim Thorpe.
Performances of SHIMMER offer attendees a 45 minute indoor activity perfect for visitors looking for a break from the cold. Upstairs, in the lofty ballroom of the historic museum, guests can warm up with hot chocolate and popcorn as they experience this snow and ice themed circus. A selection of multi-talented entertainers from the larger touring show comprise the cast, and provide an action packed, high energy addition to the other Winterfest activities in town.
***Tickets are $15. Day-of Walk up tickets are available at the venue, the Mauch Chunk Museum (41 West Broadway), prior to each performance, or online in advance via Eventbrite, or in person at Pose Mortem Portrait Parlor (25 Broadway).***
