The all-girl punk rock band formed in Seoul in 2018 with Jung Yeawon as frontwoman who spits out raw snarling vocals over razorsharp riffs and bootstomping drumlines, delivering a no-mercy live assault every time they hit the stage. 
Their sound is rooted in 80s street punk but fired up with a modern edge like fast, loud, melodic and absolutely uncompromising.

Fueled by lyrics about freedom, resistance, self-determination and pushing back against a rigid conservative society, The Rumkicks have become one of the most explosive bands to come out of the Asian punk underground. Through relentless touring and high-impact festival shows across Europe and beyond like Rebellion, they’ve proven the point once and for all: punk has no borders but only attitude.
The Rumkicks stand for the original DIY spirit, unapologetic girlpowered punk and come armed with three chords, the amps cranked to 11 and the fury of a cornered hyena ready to smash the walls at Excelsior!
