Becca Kristovsky ,ז"ל is remembered by many of us as an vibrant member of the music community in Israel. She sang in a duo with Jeff Meshel in the 1980s, then for many years with TRiAD, as well as the Mark Rashkow Blues Band and the Danny Dworsky Trio. She was editing Jeff’s novel when she passed away six years ago.

YMCA is Clive Noble (keyboards), Abigail Lewis (vocals), Michael Lavetter (guitar, vocals) and Yonatan Bar-Rashi (percussion), formerly from the group TRiAD, who played for fourteen years at the Jacob’s Ladder Festival.

Jeff Meshel was raised in Ohio and has lived in Israel since forever. He has worked as a playwright (20 plays in Hebrew) and director, lyricist, librettist, singer, blogger (Song of The Week) and a cappella activist (forming the vocal rock orchestra Vocalocity).

“The Greatest Band that Never Was” Jeff’s first novel: 
2006, dawn of social media. Paralegal Shelly Griffin is 43, single, stuck in small-town dead-end Rust Belt, Ohio. When she discovers a song by Decapede about a dying local beer, she inadvertently triggers the first-ever viral clip on the internet and finds herself leading a frenzied search for the long-forgotten band. 
Shelly sequesters the middle-aged ex-hippie remnants of the band in an idyllic farmhouse to prepare for their reunion show. But she quickly discovers that steering the runaway Decamania outside is easier than mothering the multigenerational menagerie of band and team members, as long-buried skeletons emerge before prying TV cameras, new relationships evolve, and improbable bonds are forged.
