Stop the Bleeding
Residents The Waterford Township Fire Department and Cooper Hospital are working together to provide our residents, teachers, public officials and first responders with FREE training in a course called "Stop the Bleeding" to be held at the New Public Safety Building on August 23, 2018 @ 7:00PM. The training will provide you with first hand knowledge on how to stop and control bleeding in a emergency before first responders arrive. The average person can bleed out in less than 5 MINUTES but you can make a difference and save a life. The class is limited to 50 people over the age of 16 and again this class is at NO COST to you. Take advantage. Please send me a private message with your contact information for registration and we will get back to you. If the class fills up you we will run it again in the fall and spring.
Stop the Bleed is a national campaign to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
