# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Nov 2025 CFADC General Meeting
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 05 Nov, 2025 at 06:00 pm – Wed, 05 Nov, 2025 at 09:00 pm
- **Event Description**: JON ROSENTHAL, the man who clawed back TX135 from more than 20 years of Republican dominance, will be speaking to us in November, about the tumultuous 2025 session and his plans to move on to the larger state stage as a candidate to rein in the poorly named (& poorly run) Texas Railroad Commission.

We meet at Romero’s Las Brazas meeting room, 15703 Longenbaugh 77095
—Wednesday, November 5, 6-9 pm
    >>6pm: meet, greet, try to eat
    >>6:30pm: business meeting
    >>7pm: speaker(s)

Bring cash, card, or checkbook to pay your 2025 dues, if you haven’t already ponied up. If you want to beat the crush at the meeting, give here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/cy-fair-area-democratic-club-1

Just remember to put 4% on top of your membership/contribution, if paying with ActBlue, if possible. We gave the biggest part of our treasury to our local democratic candidates in 2024. We’re now building the treasury back up for 2026, & we will surely need every penny we can bank to take back our government.

SMALL BILL WARNING: we WILL Pass the Hat. No coins, please (unless it’s in rolls & weighs a LOT). Herb just signed an Executive Order to prohibit the clinking of curséd coinage at CFADC post-Halloween meetings.

Are you feeling achy & are seasonal allergies worse than usual? Get a Covid test. Yes, Covid is still a killer. Please be mindful of those with health vulnerabilities, be vaccinated & boosted, & observe reasonable social distancing, as much as possible. Mask up if necessary.

See you there!

This is our mantra for 2025:
Retreat is not an option.
Giving up or checking out completes the job that Republican gerrymandering & voter suppression started, so we won’t.
We won’t give them what they want.
We will BLUNT Republican satisfaction & complacency at all times.
We will plan & plot & FIGHT the oncoming right-wing policies, especially the return to “women (& minorities) are cattle.” NO, just NO.
