- **Event Description**: I spoke with Mark today at Liberty State Park. I would like to remind EVERYONE this is a PEACEFUL PROTEST. We do not need to be loud or disrespectful to get our point across. 
No permit is needed as this is not a rally. No loud speakers or loud radios are permitted.
We will be standing holding signs (I will make a few, please also feel free to make your own) and engage with other guests of the park and notify them why we are there. We can at this time designate one person to collect signatures for a petition I am drawing up to present to Trenton.
We will all meet at the Nature Center parking lot and stand off to the side as not to block or inhibit anyone coming in or leaving.
Under no circumstance shall anyone at anytime engage in conflict with other guests or park police. If this should happen you will be asked to quietly leave.
The whole purpose of this event is to stand in solidarity with the wildlife and show the community we care about the welfare of the animals and should they feel the need to remove all or in part of any said animals, to find a much more humane and ethical way.

NATURE CENTER PARKING LOT

All deer - adults, juveniles and babies - have been SLAUGHTERED at Liberty Sate Park, Jersey City, NJ 

During that time, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife (NJDFW) rounded the deer in an enclosed area of Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The area had been clear-cut for development. To make way for the developers, ALL the deer - adults, juveniles and babies were mercilessly starved and then slaughtered in the most inhumane manner.
The public was not informed and nonlethal conflict management solutions were NEVER considered as an alternative to KILLING. Liberty State Park employees were not aware of NJDEP & NJDFW’s KILLING plan. There was no communication to the public of NJDEP & NJDFW’s secretive KILLING plan.

Tell them we need answers! This is a public matter and something that needs to be discussed within the community and voted on. Government run offices have had too much say for too long. They do not hold the common interest nor welfare of the citizens and wildlife. It’s time for change and non-lethal humane methods.
