- **Event Description**: 250 years ago, George Washington departed the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia to take command of the new Continental Army at Cambridge, Massachusetts. Gen. Washington crossed New Jersey over three days in June 1775 on a journey that would prove a prelude to the eight years of the Revolutionary War to come.

Follow George Washington’s first “Journey Through Jersey” as Commander in Chief through Trenton, New Brunswick and Newark and across the Hudson River from Hoboken to take command of the Continental Army 250 years ago in 1775.

Please meet at the CRRNJ Terminal located at 1 Audrey Zap Drive. Free parking is available in Lot #9 across from the Terminal building. 

This program is recommended for ages 8 & up, and pre-registration is NOT required.
