Speculative Fiction Book Club

Do you like science fiction, fantasy, futuristic novels, or other stories set in a world (maybe slightly, maybe vastly) different than our own? If so, join the JTL Speculative Fiction Book Club on October 15th, 7:30-8:30pm, to discuss The Other Valley by Scott Alexander Howard.

The Speculative Fiction Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 7:30-8:30pm. No need to register or to attend every meeting, but please feel free to email Y2F0aGVyaW5lIHwgamVyaWNob3Rvd25saWJyYXJ5dnQgISBvcmc= if you would like to be put on our email list, join our Discord server, or reserve a copy of the book. (Discord is a free social media app that allows you to build community, in this case with other book club members. No need to join Discord if you'd rather not! Most discussion will take place at our in-person meetings.)

Building accessibility note: Our historic building can currently only be accessed via a set of stairs. We are working hard on a project to make our building accessible to all Vermonters. In the meantime, we are committed to providing inclusive programming and may be able to relocate this event with advance notice.
