- **Event Description**: Do you like science fiction, fantasy, futuristic novels, or other stories set in a world (maybe slightly, maybe vastly) different than our own? If so, join the JTL Speculative Fiction Book Club on March 18th, 7:30-8:30pm, to discuss Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor.

The Speculative Fiction Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 7:30-8:30pm. No need to register or to attend every meeting, but please feel free to email catherine@jerichotownlibraryvt.org if you would like to be put on our email list or if you would like to join our Discord server. (Discord is a free social media app that allows you to build community, in this case with other book club members. No need to join Discord if you'd rather not! Most discussion will take place at our in-person meetings.)


Building accessibility note: We are working hard on a project to make our historic building accessible to all community members. At the moment, the building can only be accessed via a set of steps leading up to the front entrance. The second floor can only be accessed by a steep staircase. We are committed to providing inclusive programming, services, and collections, and we may be able to relocate programs or make them available online with advanced planning. Please email catherine@jerichotownlibraryvt.org to discuss accessibility at our library.
