9th Annual Battle of the Bows

We encourage the public to go out and support our sponsors. Helping preserve our Cajun heritage and music. This is a fun, family oriented event. Join us for the 9th Annual Battle of the Bows Cajun Fiddle Competition Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Strand Theater in downtown Jennings, LA. Doors open at 9am. Fiddle competition starts at 10am. We hope to see you there.

Tickets are on sale at the Gator Chateau. Kids 12 and under get in free, ages 13-17 tickets are $6.00 ea., senior citizens 65 and up tickets are $6.00 ea., and 18 year of age on up to adult tickets are $ 8.00 ea.

Contestants can go to jeffdavis.org, click on events, then go to Battle of the Bows for Registration and Rules and regulations. To all of the contestants it is FREE to enter the competition. All contestants get a free t-shirt, a lapel pin, and a chance to win prize money. We have $ 3,400 to be divided up and given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. See rules and regulations for more details. Cold drinks and snacks will be available for the contestants.
