Built in 1939 from the boards of an old grismill, the Mountain Playhouse stands as PA's oldest standing stock theater, bringing Broadway-quality shows to a beautiful, rustic setting. It's been almost two years since we have been at this location, and we're excited to be returning!
In past events the team and guests alike have experienced phantom footsteps on the stage, knocks in response to our knocks, the sound of seats being moved, vocalizations, shadow activity, and device interactions. This time however, our event is also a mission. We love this location, and we would hate to see it go away. So, in an effort to help save the theater in hopes shows can return, a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to the theater group to assist in restoring the playhouse.
You can attend one night, or both nights. If you choose to attend both nights, I take $10 off of the admission, and you only pay $80 for two full nights of investigating. The price of admission is only $45 per person, for a 6-hour investigation.
When you join one of our events, you have the opportunity to use equipment as you investigate the site on your own. We have a wide array of equipment for our guests to use. We have K-2 meters, Mel-meters, various EMF detectors, dowsing rods, live-listening set-ups, digital voice recorders, and thermal cameras. We also provide our guests with refreshments throughout the course of the event.
Reservations can be made by messaging us, and letting us know how many spots you wish to reserve, and what night(s) you wish to attend. In return, you'll receive a PayPal link to remit payment. Payment is due at the time of requesting reservations. When your payment is received, your will be placed on the guest list for the night(s) you requested, and you'll receive a confirmation of your reservations. Reservations are limited, and spots will not be held for anyone, for any reason.
