Auch mit dem neuen Studioalbum setzt Fujita seine musikalische Entdeckungsreise fort, indem er sich konsequent auf unbekanntes Terrain bewegt. Migratory, auf dem auch Moor Mother und Hatis Noit als Gäste zu hören sind, erscheint am 06. September bei Erased Tapes. Parallel zur Ankündigung veröffentlicht Fujita schon heute die erste, von Synthesizer-Sounds getragene Single „Tower of Cloud“, die ab sofort im Stream verfügbar ist. 

„‘Tower of Cloud’ nahm erste Gestalt an, als ich vor ein paar Jahren ein Live-Set für eine Tour vorbereitete“, sagt der Japaner über die Entstehung der Auftakt-Single. „Als ich dann unterwegs war durch Teile von Europa und Thailand, entwickelte sich das Stück weiter. Das Synthesizer-Riff gibt mir so ein spätsommerliches Gefühl, es erinnert mich an Cumulonimbus-Wolken (Gewitterwolken), und ich sehe dazu eine Schwalbe, die zur Marimba-Melodie einen Kreis am Himmel zieht.“
