- **Event Description**: 📢 Calling the Class of 1999: It’s Time to Make History (Again)! 🎓✨
Hey Riverdale Rebels! Can you believe it’s been over 25 years since we walked across that stage as the last graduating class of the 20th century? 😮
We all have so many incredible memories from our days on campus, but let’s be honest—our 10-year and 20-year reunions were small but mighty (shoutout to the faithful 20 of us who made it!). This year, we are doing things differently. Inspired by the massive, high-energy annual alumni picnics thrown by traditional New Orleans high schools, our Booster Club is bringing that exact same energy to Riverdale!
It’s time to show Jefferson Parish exactly why the Class of '99 is unforgettable.
🧺 The Details
 * 📅 When: Saturday, October 10, 2026
 * ⏰ Time: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
 * 📍 Where: Right back where it all started—our Alma Mater’s Campus!
🌟 Why This Matters: Preserving the Legacy
Riverdale High School is still widely considered one of the absolute best high schools in Jefferson Parish, and its prestigious reputation stands strong. But a school’s legacy isn’t just built by the students in the classrooms today—it’s carried on by the alumni who paved the way.
This picnic isn't just about eating good food and reminiscing about the late '90s. It’s about carrying on our legacy, supporting our school, and helping create scholarships for the next generation of Rebels. We have a responsibility to keep Riverdale's prestige alive, and it starts with us showing up!
💰 The Breakdown: Power in Numbers!
The registration fee is $200 per class.
> Here’s the deal: The more people from the Class of '99 who commit and participate, the cheaper it becomes for everyone individually! If we get a massive crowd, the cost per person becomes pocket change.
>
If you’ve been hesitant to come out to past events, or if you’ve lost touch over the years—this is your sign to come home. Let’s fill our tent, lock in the lowest price, and show the other classes what the 20th-century finale looks like!
Drop a comment below if you’re in, tag your favorite Riverdale classmates, and let’s start rallying the troops. See you on October 10th! 💙🎒
