- **Event Description**: From the mythological to the mundane, the power of the air moves through Heathen practice.  The Wild Hunt embodies the winter wind, chasing down the spirits of nature with its ghostly howling.  The wind is governed by gods like Woden and Njord, or stirred up by a corpse-eating Eagle at the edge of the world.  But the true power of the air is in our breath – in the ways that each of us shape our breath into intention and truth through our words.  This workshop will be an overview of some of Heathenry’s most potent symbols of wind and breath, followed by a ritual practice of focusing our thoughts and harnessing the power of our breath to speak our intentions into the world.

To fully participate in the ritual portion of this offering, bring with you:
- a candle and a way to light it (electric tea light is fine)
- a notebook and writing implement for a brief journaling exercise

Trey Moonwood
Trey (they/them) is a queer witch and seeress in the Heathen tradition. They founded the Chase Hill kindred in Vermont in 2010 and served as their leader until 2023. Trey teaches Heathen lore, practice, and magic through workshops at local and regional events in New England, as well as online through their Patreon, Spell of the Seeress. Trey is also a writer and has published a collection of poems called The Gorgon Verses: Poems for a Queer Mythology.
